Yukio Mishima

I came across Yukio Mishima by accident – got given one of his books (The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With The Sea) and a few months later I needed a small book to take on a train journey.

Really interesting and different tale, very deep considering it’s so short.

A year or so later I heard the stories about the author who’d committed suicide during a book reading (didn’t put 2 and 2 together).

And now my book group are reading the Forbidden Colours – so finally I’ve joined all the dots. So it was definately time to add his page….
